Customer Service

  1. Our Staff should always be helpful and courteous. They should understand what you need as a musician. All of us are musicians, most are regularly gigging.
  2. Our staff should be able to advise you on all aspects of Folk Music and Acoustic Instruments. The company has more experience in this field than anyone else.
  3. You can expect us to listen to your requirements, and only offer you goods that are suitable. While we recommend getting the best instrument you can afford, we always have easily affordable instruments in every category.
  4. To be allowed to try out the instruments on display, at your leisure, without obligation and without sales pressure.
  5. If you call our mail order line, we will answer the phone within 6 rings, and you will speak directly to an experienced salesperson.

After Sales Service

  1. If you are unhappy with any purchase, you can bring it back for any reason within 2 weeks, and exchange it for other goods to the same value. (Not custom made items)
  2. Every instrument is sold with a full guarantee; We have the facilities to back this up and carry out a professional repair to any kind of instrument.
  3. We will honour your legal rights without argument. In the event of any dispute we will deal with your complaint promptly and fairly.

HAMMERED DULCIMER

   
Definition: Large trapezoidal zither with many strings in pairs, 3s or 4s stretched over long (sometimes individually moveable) bridges. Played with small wooden or cane hammers. Played in British Isles and North America. Closely related to the Hungarian cymbalom, German/Swiss hackbrett, Iraqi and Iranian santir (probably the origin of all of these), Indian santoor, Korean yangum and Chinese yang qin.
